Itinerary
(Distance: 155 km / Driving Time: 4 hr / Altitude of Phuentsholing: 293m)
On the arrival of the guest at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station , One of our representative will be there to assist you. After meeting & greeting , will transfer towards Phuentsholing. At Phuentsholing , clear the immigration formalities at Pedestrian Terminal. Once you get the inner – line permit. Check into your pre - booked hotel. After refreshment , take a rest. Evening leisure in the main market at Phuentsholing by walking. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing. (Altitude 293m)
Day 02: Immigration Formalities - Transfer to Thimphu - Night Stay
(Distance: 163km / Driving Time: 6 hr / Altitude of Thimphu: 2334m)
After morning breakfast , clear the immigration formalities in immigration office. Once you get the inner-line permit drive towards Thimphu , which take almost 6 hrs drive to reach. On the way you can visit Kharbandi Gumba. The journey will be beautiful surrounded by mountain. On the way to Thimphu see the waterfall . Once you reach Thimphu. Check into your pre-booked hotel & after refresh and take rest.

Evening time can be spent strolling through the government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts bazaar, to browse through examples of Bhutan's fine traditional arts. Here you can buy hand-woven textiles, thangka paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and wood carvings, jewellery, and interesting items made from local materials. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu. (Altitude 2,320m)
Day 03 - Full Day Thimphu Sightseeing –later Transfer Thimphu to Punakha - Night Stay
Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan. After morning breakfast , you can start your local sightseeing at Thimphu by cover these places below later transfer to Punakha from Thimphu which take approx 3 hr.

Day 04 – Punakha Sightseeing than drive to Paro - Night Stay
(Distance: 115km / Driving Time: 3.5 hr / Altitude of Paro: 2200m)
After morning Breakfast , complete Punakha sightseeing later drive to Paro.
Chimi Lhakhang
The Chimi Lhakhang, situated on a hillock in the centre of the valley, is also known as the temple of fertility. It is widely believed that couples who do not have children and want one, if they pray at this temple, they are usually blessed with a child very soon. A walk through the village near the temple will give you rare glimpses into the daily life and lifestyle of the villagers.
Punakha Dzong
It was built in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, at the junction of the Phochu and Mochu rivers. This majestic dzong served as both the religious and the administrative center of Bhutan in the past. It measures some 600 by 240 feet and has a six-story, gold-domed tower. Inside are courtyards and religious statuary that hint at the depth of history and spiritual tradition embodied here.

Dochula Pass
The Dochula Pass is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas within Bhutan on the road from Thimpu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as "Druk Wangyal Chortens" have been built by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the eldest Queen Mother. Apart from the chortens there is a monastery called the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang (temple), built in honour of the fourth Druk Gyalpo (head of the state of Bhutan), Jigme Singye Wangchuck; the open grounds in its front yard is a venue for the annual Dochula Druk Wangyel Festival. The pass with 108 memorial chortens is adjacent to the country's first Royal Botanical Park.

Day 05 : Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike
After an early breakfast,
Taktsang Monastery it may take 6 hr (to n fro). Suggest to take a hot Stone bath & Spa after trekking for body relaxing and take a rest .Evening free for exploratory walk around Main Street and market area by walking.
Tiger Nest Monastery (Taktsang Lhakhang) is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious site. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. This temple is one of the most holy sites in the kingdom. It is believed that Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew to this location from Tibet on the back of a tigress from Khenpajong. This place was consecrated to tame the Tiger demon, was first built in 1692 at a cave where Guru Rimpoche meditated in a cave.
In order to arrive at the temple you must trek for around 2-3 hours through beautiful, shady pine forests that are colorfully festooned with moss and prayer flags.

Day 06 - Paro Local Sightseeing - Drive to Phuentsholing - Night Stay

After morning breakfast , start local sightseeing at Paro - covering below places - After finished with your sightseeing drive to Phuentsholing - check into your pre -booked hotel at Phuentsholing - evening free for leisure in the town to explore by walking. Overnight stay at hotel at Phuntsholing.

Day 07: Drop Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Airport ( 4hrs drive)

Frquently Asked Questions
Q: We’re a couple, do we need to share a room?
Ans: You can opt for double sharing then you will get a private room on double sharing only. No Sharing with any other traveller.
Q: I’m travelling Solo, how will I be accommodated?
Ans: For Solo travellers, Room sharing will be with another same-gender solo traveller on double/triple sharing. If the number of solo travellers is odd i.e. 3,5,7 then the room will be on triple sharing.
Q: What currency is used in Bhutan?
Ans: Indian currency Rupee is widely accepted in Bhutan. Bhutan’s national currency is Ngultrum. There is no need to exchange Indian Rupees for Bhutanese Ngultrum.
Q: Are ATMs available in Bhutan?
Ans: We suggest you do not rely on the ATM at Phuentsholing please carry sufficient cash.
Q: What Identity proofs are valid for travelling in Bhutan?
Ans: You can present a Voter card or passport to get a permit.
Aadhaar Card is not valid in Bhutan.
Q: Is Bhutan safe for solo travelling?
Ans: Yes, Bhutan is one of the safest places to visit for Solo travellers. However, travelling solo could cost a little high due to less bus connectivity and for some of the places, no shared taxi are available. It is always a better idea to travel in a group to reduce the cost of travelling and accommodation.

Toyota Coaster Bus / Hi-Ace Bus for Internal Transfers & Sightseeing.
